Shipping policy

We have 3 ways for you to get your order.

Local Pick up from SK Ten Farm Shop & Butchery

You can select local pick up on the first page of your checkout process. If you have been an existing customer you may have to go back to the Information page and choose this.  Local pick up is free of change and currently set to next day. We are looking to move this to same day and eventually 1 hour.

Local Delivery

Local delivery is currently free of charge with no minimum order cost whilst we are in the middle of this awful epidemic. Areas covered are SK7, SK8, SK9, SK10, SK11 & WA16

In the future we will revert to SK7 1&2, SK8 6&7, SK9, SK10 areas with a £25 minimum spend

Courier

Our standard delivery charge for the UK mainland is £10, covering the cool box packaging and courier. Orders over £70 are free, so in the interest of fairness if you spend over £35 we'll split the cost to just £5. So it's worth filling the basket and bulk meat orders are very welcome.  We are unable to deliver to the highlands of Scotland etc. We reserve the right to deliver ourselves if coinciding with an existing journey.

At checkout just add your delivery address to see the delivery cost.

Expected delivery times

The table below shows the estimated day of delivery for online orders, because our courier is not delivering at weekends at the moment. However we do endeavor to personally deliver locally the very next day.

 

Packaging

In transit, your meat delivery is kept cool because we use an insulated packaging and your meat is packed along with specially designed cooling packs that will keep the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. The packaging is sturdy and won't leak.
